Our client, a global leader in the IT industry, is seeking to hire an IT Customer Support Specialist. This is a 100% REMOTE position with the hours of 8am-5pm M-F CST . This position starts as a 3-6-month contract but offers opportunities for extensions and full-time positions for top performers.

Position Overview:

The IT Customer Support Specialist will assist with customer device registration, enrollment and provisioning, managing hardware assets, software entitlement/fulfillment and license renewals. The Specialist possesses some degree of technical skills with a working knowledge across all disciplines.

Key Areas of Responsibility: Receives incoming requests from internal customers via shared mailboxes or from Synapse/Config Central ticketing systems and performs all services within assigned Service Level Agreements.

Manages caseload: Accepts cases within the time limit determined by management and reviews cases daily.

Provides excellent customer service in all customer interactions.

Utilizes all available resources to resolve customer issues.

Meets departmental productivity and quality standards, maintains/exceeds service levels.

Some light reporting will be involved in this role including productivity tracking.

Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in your work.

Qualifications 1+ years of Customer Service experience inside the IT industry or technical field.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Candidates with previous experience working with customers for IT device registration, enrollment, and provisioning, managing hardware assets, software entitlement/fulfillment or license renewals are preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Natural problem solver who is adept at researching and resolving customer's issues.

Ability to function within a collaborative environment or work independently.

High degree of organization and attention to detail.
