Job Responsibilities: As a Senior Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the project development process. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough cost estimates for a range of commercial construction projects, from inception to completion.
Analyzing project plans, specifications, and other documentation to accurately determine project costs.
Collaborating closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather accurate pricing information.
Developing detailed and competitive bids and proposals.
Providing value engineering solutions to optimize project costs without sacrificing quality.
Keeping abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and pricing fluctuations to ensure competitiveness.
Requirements: To excel in this role, you will need:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction estimation, with a focus on ground-up projects.
Proficiency in construction estimation software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or equivalent.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
