About The Role
Join our dynamic team as a Safety Analyst and become a crucial part of our operational backbone. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth functioning of our daily operations, performing duties in support of Safety/Training initiatives at both the corporate and regional levels This role will be responsible for incident and injury tracking, trending and reporting, along with other activities consistent with safety/training to include but not limited to; reporting, recordkeeping, data entry, and other duties as required and assigned.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering, Tracking and Monitoring Safety/Compliance/Training information
Injury/Incident Tracking and Reporting
Monitoring and reporting through 3rd party platforms (i.e. Avetta, Vero, ISN and Veriforce)
Safety Communications as needed; weekly,
Safety Program Management with focus on document and data controls
Provides analysis and monitoring of different EHS programs, incident management, observations, investigations, audits, Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
Conducts analytical and trending reports related to safety
Maintains records, reports and documents required to meet corporate and regulatory requirements including, but not limited to; injuries/incidents, close-call/good catch, vehicle accidents, training, etc.
Serves as a liaison between corporate safety and regions
Coordinates reoccurring and as needed meetings for corporate and regional safety
Work closely with other cross functional teams (i.e. Claims, Fleet, Human Resources, etc).
Follow all company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality and proprietary information
System Administrator for EHS software, updating data, review for accuracy, creating reports
Ad hoc reporting and analysis
Key Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED and 3+ years of experience with and emphasis in environmental, health and safety program management and employee training.
Strong organizational skills
Adept at utilization of company-wide system for reporting EHS data and Information
Must have clear communication and written skills
Ability to speak with large groups with diverse backgrounds
Ability to support cross-company and cross-functional teams
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Key Nice-To-Haves
Two (2) year degree in occupational safety
OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Certification
