Experience: 8 years of experience in software development or related. Requires skills and experience in the following: Expert knowledge of Agile and Scrum; Expert knowledge of the following project management tools: Jira, Microsoft O365 suite, and Confluence; Expert with Excel, SQL, Oracle, and Postgres; Expert analytical skills including data analysis, complex problem solving, and strategic planning; Ability to create dynamic flow charts and sequence diagrams to map out and visualize complex business processes and flows; Ability to create Power Point presentations to present to senior leadership that breaks down complex technical concepts into easily consumable material; Experience working in testing tools or frameworks to create automated testing suites for one or more systems; and Experience facilitating the end-to-end testing strategy for a group of closely aligned products and communicates timelines and results with stakeholder.
Job duties: Identifies and documents functional and non-functional requirements. Ensures Product Management and business stakeholders understand the impacts of requests on the project, associated applications, and other business units. Influences and manages scope change. Collaborates with Product Management and business leaders to develop communication, training, and implementation plans to address people, process, and technology changes at the department or enterprise level. Refines requirements and user stories so they are readily consumable by Software Engineers or Systems Developers. Owns end-to-end quality strategy for group of closely aligned products. Develops test cases designed to validate functional and non-functional system requirements. Executes and facilitates execution of test scripts based on test cases. Works in testing tools or frameworks to create automated testing suites for one or more systems. Uses data to drive decisions. Applies a deep understanding of each products system architecture and the technologies used to move and modify data in queues, messaging services, Webservices, APIs, and databases. Assists Engineers or Systems Developers in debugging and troubleshooting issues involving data or the accuracy of data, in day-to-day work and production support scenarios. Research external systems (upstream, downstream) and dependent systems as needed to reverse engineer or understand their function through data extraction and validation. Leads the refinement of SDLC-related tools, standards, and training. Influences business process improvements and product roadmap. Serves as domain subject matter expert. Mentor others with expert knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and project management tools. Ability to leverage data to tell a meaningful story. Ability to break down complex problems into components and reassemble them to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Ability to validate data and understand how it flows end-to-end for a product or group of closely aligned products.
