What you will be doing:
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, testing, and overseeing the manufacture of electrical equipment, systems, or components. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and possess the skills necessary to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop plans for electrical systems, circuits, and devices tailored to meet the specific requirements and specifications of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. This includes designing power distribution systems, control systems, IT infrastructure, AV systems, and electronic circuits.
Conduct comprehensive testing and evaluation of electrical systems to ensure they meet design standards and function correctly. Analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments to optimize system performance.
Create detailed technical specifications for electrical components, equipment, and systems, outlining requirements such as materials, dimensions, and performance criteria, with a focus on pharmaceutical manufacturing needs.
Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including engineers, designers, technicians, and project managers, to ensure the successful and timely completion of pharmaceutical manufacturing projects.
Ensuring Compliance with Regulations: Stay informed about electrical codes, standards, and regulations applicable to pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities to ensure designs comply with safety and quality requirements.
Manage projects from conception to completion, overseeing budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure successful implementation of electrical systems in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
Explore new technologies, materials, and methods to improve the performance, efficiency, and sustainability of electrical systems used in pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
Maintain accurate records of designs, tests, and project progress. Prepare technical reports, manuals, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders as necessary.
Offer technical support to clients, colleagues, or end-users, assisting with troubleshooting, maintenance, or upgrades of electrical systems and equipment used in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Stay updated on advancements in electrical engineering technology and industry best practices through training, workshops, or pursuing advanced degrees to ensure the application of the latest knowledge and skills in pharmaceutical manufacturing projects.
The ideal candidate:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
Proficiency in designing electrical systems, circuits, and devices.
Experience with testing and evaluating electrical systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing applications.
Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations relevant to pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to electrical systems in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
