WHO we're looking for:
We are looking for a Project Manager - Customer Care Product Liability who will be responsible for supporting the Customer Care Product Liability operation program management activities including risk management, project management, technical product review, plan creation, resource planning, day-to-day operations and project status monitoring & reporting. The goal of the Project Manager is to lead various projects and support initiatives on-time, in-scope in a time-sensitive environment. To achieve the highest project performance, you will be expected to maintain effective and timely communication with key stakeholders and leaders within the department and cross-department where applicable. Must have a sense of urgency.
Role and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with team members in Customer Care to provide reporting and analysis on initiatives.
Generate daily/weekly/monthly reports, with analysis and recommendations.
Manage 4-7 ongoing and ad-hoc projects that may include managing KPIs and Metrics.
Ensure that all projects have required documentation as they move through the project tollgates.
Collaborate with project/program developers and business leads to keep project in scope.
Communicate to Product Liability leadership on project status and escalation/decision points, as needed.
New product launching risk management related specifically to product liability
Work cross-functionally with HQ teams in Korea, Product Liability and Operations to manage risk.
Required Experience and Education:
3-5 years of hands-on project management and operations within a complex global organization.
Technical training or education (product engineering preferred).
PMP certification and Six Sigma certification is a plus.
Process, procedure, strategic planning and project development experience.
Experience working with and influencing cross-functional teams.
Experience communicating with mid to top-level leaders (status reports, emails, presentations).
Experience working in a complex, deep organization and department.
Previous experience in mobile or consumer electronics preferred but not necessary.
Experience working within the wireless and home appliance industry is a plus.
Experience with product development or testing is a plus.
Necessary Skills and Attributes:
Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Limited supervision and the exercise of discretion.
Bilingual Korean and English (verbal and written communication) is required
Advanced skills in MS, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Proven capability to analyze data and develop a course of action.
Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and drive to resolution.
Ability to take project ownership and possess leadership qualities with an entrepreneurial approach.

Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. May require working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
