The Sales Manager role will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and lead regional sales efforts within the US Sales team to secure FTM / utility scale size projects with Utility, Developer, and IPP clients. They will work cross functionally with our market analytics, commercial operations, legal and project management teams and be responsible for building their pipeline out several years in the future and across multiple key accounts. the business development team strategy incorporating financial analysis, research input, and stakeholder parameters. This individual will be accountable to build and manage external partnerships on a day-to-day basis and report on pipeline activity to the leadership team.

Responsibilities

Lead generation, prospecting, pitching, and account management across their region

Support in proposal preparation with commercial operations, market intel and cost reporting from industry/accounts, contract negotiation and structuring through to closing the deal

Identify, research, and evaluate new business opportunities, establish contacts with clients to understand their business needs, and support use case analysis with market analytics team

Determine client product/project requirements and needs, and to identify and present which solutions meet those needs with Eos' products.

Represent Eos at Trade Shows, in client presentations, industry groups, seminars and other forums

Hands on development and structuring of master supply agreements and long-term service agreements supporting aggressive year over year sales targets, up to 16 to 18 month sales cycles

Interfacing internally with Eos engineering and services groups as well as external partner personnel to coordinate and support product definition/specification, testing/qualification programs, and marketing initiatives as needed to provide market/customer feedback

This position will support the development of robust scenario-based financial models projecting capital requirements, project P&L, DCF valuations and ROI to support sales process. Product and warranty pricing analysis will be conducted to understand and plan around corresponding capital requirements

Qualifications Successful and demonstrated sales experience selling big ticket large capital equipment solutions in complex industry with extended Sales cycles

5-8 years of experience preferred

Preferably experienced in Energy Storage, Solar/PV, Wind, or other area of Renewable Energy development

Advanced understanding of the energy industry, renewables market, solar, wind, power generation/transmission industries

Skilled at developing long-term relationships with major industry players Developers, Utilities, IPPs, Asset Owners/Managers and negotiating complex long-term contractual partnerships

Experienced in coordinating Due Diligence and project development activities with cross functional resources, peers, and outside consultants to ensure project is progressing in accordance with schedule

Strong analytical, interpersonal, and quantitative skills needed

Effective communication (verbal, written, and presentation) skills

Ability to travel within U.S. (25%)
