General Responsibilities: The Interior Design Project Coordinator will report to the Interior Designer Project Manager. The Interior Design Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day administration of the projects and work assigned to them. He/she will assure that their projects and work proceed on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality and standards of Weinstein Properties. The Interior Design Project Coordinator will work to maintain project progress and communications with the Directors, the Leasing and Maintenance Teams, Project Managers, Vendors, Suppliers, and Contractors.

Specific Responsibilities: The Interior Design Project Coordinator shall:

* Assist with project decision making.

* Assist with establishing the scope of work for projects consistent with Weinstein Properties and project objectives.

* Assist with establishing project budgets, work sequence and schedules.

* Assist with preparing work packages for construction, developing, and documenting the FF&E package for each project.

* Creating presentation and design documents. Participating in meetings on site or in the office.

* Finish materials selection, research, and documentation; up to date knowledge of materials. Must be able to generate a finish package with appropriate finishes for the design and be able specify the selected finishes.

* Creating digital presentations and physical finish boards.

* **Construction documents** create furniture plans, floor finish plans, wall finish plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and details for a full set of construction documents. Applying knowledge of building codes and ADA guidelines while developing space plans.

* Perform project site visits to verify dimensions/conditions when needed.

* Participating in meetings on site or in the office.

* Assist with reviewing Contractor proposals for scope of work and cost reasonableness.

* Facilitate communications among the Property Manager, the Leasing Team, the Contractors, Design Project Manager and the Construction Program Director.

* Seek timely resolution of work matters.

* Be responsible for the daily administration of their projects.

* Process, purchase orders, tracking, and invoices.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

* 2-4 years experience; or equivalent relevant education and experience.

* Knowledge in commercial, hospitality, residential, and outdoor furniture lines, selections, and procurement.

* Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel & Outlook)

* Intermediate skill level in Revit and AutoCAD. TurboCad a bonus as well.

* Must have a valid drivers license and a working vehicle (or access to a vehicle).

* Familiarity with large- and small-scale projects, both renovation and new construction.

* Familiarity with the CA process including submittal and RFI review.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

* Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet prescribed project deadlines by planning ahead, managing workload, and setting priorities.

* Flexible and able to adapt quickly, shifting gears as necessary.

* Detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
