Construction Superintendent - Multifamily & Hospitality

Position Overview: As a Commercial Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction operations for hospitality and multifamily projects. From pre-construction planning to project completion, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead dynamic construction projects and collaborate with a talented team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all construction activities on-site for hospitality and multifamily projects, including scheduling, coordination, and supervision of subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules that align with project objectives.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress, safety compliance, and quality control, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
Manage project budgets and resources effectively, tracking expenses, reviewing change orders, and implementing cost-saving measures as needed.
Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to promote collaboration and ensure client satisfaction throughout the construction process.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel on-site.
Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to provide updates on project progress, milestones, and any potential risks or delays.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a construction superintendent, with a focus on hospitality and multifamily projects.
Strong understanding of construction techniques, building codes, and regulations related to hospitality and multifamily developments.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams to achieve project goals.
Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid) and Microsoft Office suite.
Willingness to travel as required to project sites and attend meetings with clients and stakeholders.
