JOB DESCRIPTION
X8 is looking for a cleared PEO Liaison to join a federal opportunity supporting a DoD acquisitions and cyber systems engineering organization. The chosen candidate will serve as liaison between U.S. Army PEO (PdM IW), USCYBERCOM, and regional Joint Mission Operations Center (JMOC). The position requires a skilled and operationally tested cyber operations professional with strong offensive cyber operations (OCO) experience, proven interpersonal skills, and the ability to align technical strategies with broad organizational objectives . The position is physically located in San Antonio, Texas, but reports to PdM IW headquartered in the National Capital Region (Client).
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Serve as the primary liaison between PdM IW, USCYBERCOM, and the operational JMOC customer to support integration and infrastructure development/management efforts.
Provide technical guidance to executive leadership on systems engineering matters.
ssess and inform stakeholders to align technical strategies with organizational goals and industry best practices.
Evaluate and implement cross-functional teams ensuring effective communication and knowledge sharing.
Gather and communicate operational requirements.
Identify and mitigate program risks.
Facilitate release and integration of feature deliverables.
WHAT REQUIRED SKILLS YOU'LL BRING Current DoD 8570 / 8140 IAT or IAM Level 3 certification. (CISSP, CISM, GSLC, CCISO)
7 years' experience with a Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or System Engineering, 10 years' experience with an AS degree or HS diploma.
Operational cyber experience with at least 3 years' experience in OCO.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven systems engineering and integration experience on cyber platforms.
Documented track record of successfully managing complex system architectures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence decision-making at all levels.
Knowledge and experience with DoD JCWA operational environments.
Experience in networking, technology, and security processes and procedures is highly desirable.
MINIMUM CLEARANCE REQUIRED Current and Active Top Secret SCI. Preferred with CI Poly
COMPENSATION Pay Range: $150,000 - 180,000 (depending on experience and education)
5% annual salary retention bonus
Up to $5,000 continuing education reimbursement
