About Osmoses

Osmoses Inc. is a technology company revolutionizing the way industrial separations are performed today! Industrial separation processes account for 15% of the world’s energy consumption and are responsible for 16% of CO2 emissions because we rely on energy-intensive technology. Changing this is one of the biggest opportunities to enable the energy transition.

We bring together a diverse and dynamic group of scientists, engineers, business professionals, and operators to develop and commercialize cutting-edge membrane technology that can reduce the impact of gas separations on the environment while increasing the economic incentive for our customers. Our groundbreaking separation solutions have the power to disrupt multi-billion dollar markets worldwide, reducing industrial energy consumption and accelerate the adoption of alternative energy sources with lower environmental impact.

As head of engineering your role will extend to the strategic management of complex projects, involving scoping, estimating, planning, and execution. You will work cross-functionally with the technology, engineering and business teams to support the development of the first product through engineering analysis. Optimise membrane process design to achieve product and system specifications at low cost.

Develop detailed flow schematics (PFD and P&IDs), build-out safety management tools, and create start-up procedures for membrane pilot and system deployment.

Build out basic engineering design package (BED), drafting FEED documents and lead Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOPs).

Support team in performing equipment sizing, creating data sheets, and selecting systems and controls.

Ability to lead scope review meetings with membrane system operators and process engineers.

Demonstrated experience in adeptly managing teams and vendors, coupled with a successful history of collaboration with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) partners and system integrators.
