**Title: Video Game Tester**
**Location: Remote but must be local to Portland, OR for equipment pick up**
**Duration: Through November, 2024**
**Pay: $17-18/hr**
Primary responsibilities:
+ Writing bug reports for a sub-area of a project or test results for an area or test pass.
+ Conducts functional testing of games to include smoke, regression, user acceptance, unit, integration, etc…
+ Capable of working with development to narrow down bug reproduction cases and scenarios.
+ May assist more senior staff with administrative tasks (meeting notes, database clean up, production requests, coaching, mentoring, etc.)
+ Provide opinions on fun factor or balance of the game
Qualifications:
+ Minimum of a High School diploma or GED. Associate/Bachelors strongly preferred
+ Enthusiastic gamer with interest in a variety of game genres
+ Knowledge of the components of a PC
+ Strong critical thinking skills
+ Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
