Working in an urgent care environment is as exhilarating as running a million miles an hour with sand between your paws. PetMedic Urgent Care Vet Clinic is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Clinical Supervisor to our team.

At PetMedic, you can help shape the exciting new world of veterinary urgent care. Our fast-paced environment means you'll do something different every day, but with more regularity and stability than an emergency setting. It's like hitting the sweet spot with a tail-thumping belly rub that never ends - and that's just the beginning. As part of our team, you'll work with the latest technology, stay ahead using educational training, and partner with experienced doctors to deliver the highest quality of care to the pet patients we all love.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

•Lead staff with positive attitude

•Clinical and Administrative duties

•Handle client complaints, escalate to Medical Director or Practice Manager if needed

•Collaborate with Medical Director

•Supervisor of all support staff (technicians, assistants, client service representatives)

•Approving PTO/sick time/holiday schedule for DVMS and support staff with Medical Director

•In collaboration with Medical Director, review and approve schedule provided by Clinical Lead Tech

•Train new technicians and assistants with Clinical Lead tech

REQUIREMENTS

•Licensed technician required

•Minimum 5 years' experience in veterinary medicine

•Experience with supervising and training clinical staff

•Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written

•Leadership abilities - collaborative, yet able to work independently

•Problem-solving and critical thinking skills

•Ability to handle complex and/or emotional situations

•Strong organizational skills, capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing

•Must be a people person who is kind and caring to all staff and clients
