Overview:
Delta by Marriott Indianapolis is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team and ensure the overall success of our hotel operations. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership abilities, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. As the General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of hotel management including guest satisfaction, revenue generation, staff management, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and direction to all hotel departments to ensure the achievement of organizational goals and objectives.
Develop and implement effective operational strategies to optimize hotel performance and profitability.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes employee engagement, growth, and development.
Oversee all aspects of guest services to ensure exceptional guest experiences and high levels of guest satisfaction.
Manage hotel finances including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Implement sales and marketing initiatives to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and standards as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
Maintain strong relationships with guests, vendors, suppliers, and the local community.
Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and guest feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel management, with at least 2 years in a General Manager or similar leadership role.
Proven track record of success in hotel operations, revenue management, and guest service excellence.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of local market trends, competitor analysis, and industry best practices.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
