Atlas Roofing Corporation seeking a Customer Service Manager for our shared-services Finance department based in the Atlanta, GA office.
Customer Service Manager Primary Responsibilities
The Customer Service Manager is responsible for providing the leadership, training and resources to the Account Executive team to manage the customer experience effectively by delivering personalized experiences and managing customer expectations tactfully that result in win-win solutions for customers and the organization.
Collaborates with the Director of Customer Service and Pricing Administration to develop annual customer service objectives.
Assists in the utilization and improvement of software tools such as the ERP system, Salesforce, QlikSense and Conexiom.
Works continually towards self-development to stay current on customer service, sales and supervisory procedures & practices.
Assesses team performance and makes employment recommendations and decisions.
Coaches team and provides timely feedback on performance gaps and development opportunities to achieve performance goals throughout the year.
Tracks, manages and optimizes customer interactions through various communication channels.
Focuses and enforces best business practices and policies to ensure a superior level of service is provided to all customers.
Monitors procedures to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
Communicates effectively with manufacturing, production planning and logistics personnel to ensure order lead times are met.
Collaborates with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure goals are in alignment with sales objectives.
Travels to manufacturing facilities and customer locations as necessary.
Customer Service Manager Experience
Five year’s customer service experience
Three to five years’ experience in the building products industry is desirable.
Customer Service Manager Education, Licenses & Certifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Four-year degree preferred

Communication: The ability to clearly express thoughts and ideas in verbal and written formats.
Teamwork. The ability to work effectively with others in order to achieve a common goal even when the object at stake is of no direct departmental gain.
Fluent in English (Reading, Writing, Speaking).
Strong organizational and effective time management skills
Intermediate math skills
Computer Skills – proficient in Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft and Qlik Sense such as QlikView.
Customer Service Manager Additional Information
The candidate can be located at any Shingles and Underlayments manufacturing facility (Ardmore, OK, Daingerfield, TX, Franklin, OH, Hampton, GA or Meridian, MS).
