X-Ray Technologist

An employer is searching for a Diagnostic Imaging Technician in the Baltimore, MD area. This role is heavily in the operating room, so all candidates must be comfortable being present during surgical procedures. This person will take ordered images and evaluate said images for technical quality. From here they then send images to appropriate destinations for interpretation. This person is also responsible for maintaining all equipment (primarily Samsung and Siemens machines) and keeping it in efficient operating order. This person will also be responsible for obtaining patient history, answering patient questions, and explaining procedures must be Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and hold an active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Patient transport to radiographic rooms might also occur as well. New graduates will be considered, however, a year or two of experience within an inpatient setting is preferred.

Must be okay with working in the Operating Room
