Junior Account Manager

Sealing Technologies, a Parsons Company (SealingTech), is seeking an experienced, customer-oriented Junior Account Manager to join the Business Development team. This Junior Account Manager will report directly to their assigned Account Manager, while working closely with the Director of Business Development, senior strategist, and business analyst to identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities to expand SealingTech’s body of work within the DoD.
Job Role and Responsibilities:
Support growth initiatives with targeted territory by researching, planning, coordinating, team building, positioning, and solutioning of win plans.
Identify opportunities based upon corporate goals and objectives; technical offerings; corporate experience; familiarity with customer and known contacts; and market competitors.
Develop and or maintain relationships with identified clients on behalf of SealingTech.
Watch customer onboarding and adaptation; amend call plan/relationship management approach per customer changes
Participate in routine business growth planning and strategizing with SealingTech Leadership
Manage pipeline of opportunities; participate in routine pipeline briefings and gate reviews
Attend industry days, conferences, and other business development events; network with current and potential clients and team members, gather leads for potential opportunities, and represent SealingTech and its offerings
Contribute to proposal responses: develop storyboards; collaborate with solution architects to develop win strategies and solutions that address customer pain points
Minimum Qualifications:
1- 3 years of full business development lifecycle (opportunity to post-award) experience
Knowledge of innovative technologies including but not limited to comply to connect, zero trust, secure access service edge (SASE), AI integration, and computing edge.
High school diploma
Proven record of winning business of $3M or more
Experience directly supporting proposal development and response (RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, TOs)
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers.
Able to travel (50%)
US Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or similar area of study.
Experience with GovWin, Sam.gov, GovTribe, or similar databases and consortiums
Has 3+ years of recent and relevant experience within the DoD; maintains positive relationships and reputation.
Technical experience/expertise in cybersecurity, enterprise architecture and implementation of services, DevSecOps
Knowledge of Cross Domain Solutions
Trained in Shipley Capture and or Proposal management processes or similar training.
Secret or Top Secret Clearance or able to obtain one
