The Information Technology Specialist reports to the Director of IT and deploys, maintains, and provides technical assistance for the company’s IT systems. The Information Technology Specialist is directly responsible for IT support at the facility/facilities where they are based but is also responsible for offering support to all facilities within the organization to ensure coverage across the organization’s national network of mental health treatment centers.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Deploy and Maintain Office 365 and Windows Defender throughout the organization
Install and configure user workstations
Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure
Fully understand and support policies regarding professional ethics, including appropriate boundaries, and client data confidentiality and security; monitor data, including protected health information (PHI) and substance use disorder patient records, according to company, HIPAA Privacy Rule and Security Rule, and 42 CFR Part 2 (Substance Abuse Confidentiality) policies.
Escalate issues that are identified within IT, particularly those related to potential data breaches and HIPAA Privacy and Security Rule violations
Maintain and troubleshoot printers
Maintain and deploy consumables, i.e., printer cartridges • Identify technology needs and escalate in appropriate forums
Maintain security of all IT, EMR, and other organizational systems, including at the facility/individual treatment center level
Develop and train users in IT, EMR, and other organizational systems
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of IT experience
Experience managing the full suite of O365 tools including Windows Defender • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Business, or Healthcare Administration or Management preferred
Strong project management, strategic and technical skills
Experience in IT purchasing and deployment • Experience with asset and network management
Experience with networking, databases, EHRs, and APIs
Have a valid driver’s license in good standing and auto insurance
Successfully complete a comprehensive background check

Compensation range for the IT Specialist role is $81,318 - 98,768K/yr.
The range provided is for Washington-based hires only and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates in other locations other than WA may differ based on the cost of living in that geographic location.
