About the Opportunity
Our busy and growing San Diego, CA office is eagerly looking to hire an Electrical Design Engineer .
Working with a group of professional peers who are committed to developing innovative designs for high-performance buildings, the Electrical Design Engineer will play a key role in the production of great design work.

Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
Maintain BIM/Revit and design files
Ensure Introba design checklist is being followed
Ensure Introba BIM/Revit Standards are being followed
BIM/Revit drafting and design operations
Electrical and/or Photovoltaic (PV) systems design layout
Perform cable calculations
Perform lighting calculations
Apply prescriptive requirements of electrical building services engineering codes
Perform accurate detailed site surveys
Prepare panel schedules and equipment schedules
Co-ordinate electrical and mechanical requirements with other disciplines involved in the project design
team (i.e. Architects, Structural Consultants, Code Consultants, Geotechnical Consultants, etc
Co-ordinate service requirements/connections with the respective utility and/or municipal agencies
Review and process drawings
Provide construction administration services Compile design reports and presentations
Attend site surveys with project manager/senior staff
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, we would like to see professionals with key skills and experience, including the following:
Minimum 4 years design experience in LV, HV, control and lighting systems
BS Architectural Engineering, BS Electrical Engineering degree required; or equivalent combination of relevant coursework and minimum 2+ years work experience required
BIM/Revit experience is an asset
Able to read Architectural, Structural, Electrical drawings with minimal supervision
Able to apply prescriptive requirements of electrical building services engineering codes with minimal supervision
Professional Engineer (PE) or EIT designations are highly preferred

Introba is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $74,500 - $174,700 annually for this position and local market.
