Job Description Job Description The Entry Level Legal Assistant position will provide our new hire with a uniquely experiential opportunity to immerse themselves in the day-to-day bustle of a prestigious legal group’s Foreclosure Department. Specific Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for accurate and timely maintenance of comprehensive workload queues within the client’s vendor management system
Ensure files are properly documented within the client’s vendor management system, to include actions taken, reasons for delay, and all relevant correspondence
Identify and escalate internal and external opportunities to shorten foreclosure time lines
Exercise a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
Build and maintain meaningful client relationships by acting as a liaison between multi-location firm personnel and interdepartmental client personnel
Participate in special projects as deemed appropriate by management and/or the client
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Some collateral experience/knowledge of mortgage documents preferred, not required
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
Excellent oral, verbal, and written communication
Must be detail oriented
Superior organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and efficiency
Must be flexible and willing to take on multiple tasks
Demonstrate ability to work independently and problem solve
Required Education and Training:
Bachelor’s Degree required
Basic principles of Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control strongly preferred
