The Staff Accountant is a results-oriented Accounting and Finance role that reports directly to the Accounting Manager, working closely with Operations and Sales to improve profitability and cash-flow.
Responsibilities:
Assist with month-end close for one or more operations.
Maintains accurate and efficient filing of financial archive files and data
Ensures required department reports are completed and information is compiled at month-end closing
Completes assigned objectives to achieve financial services goals
Process payroll, and assist with the accounts receivable process
Ensures all payroll information is accurate and submitted on a timely basis
Ensures all sales reports and financial statements are accurate prior to distribution
Clearly communicates financial results to management on a regular basis
Provides accurate and targeted financial analysis as requested
Other duties, as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements:
1+ years in a Finance/Accounting role
Operational experience in food and beverage is preferred
Accounting / Finance Degree preferred
High level of computer literacy with proficiency in Excel
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
