Job Description
BTS is seeking an intelligence Recruiter to support multiple DoD programs focused on national security. The Recruiter will establish and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders across multiple operating groups within BTS, its partners, and candidates. The Recruiter must thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities change, and efforts are seamlessly re-dedicated to meet objectives and goals. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively are essential to the Recruiter’s success. The successful Recruiter will have a must-win attitude and a team-player mentality. [Note: Pending program activities, the Recruiter may work remotely with the other days worked onsite at the BTS headquarters in Columbia, MD.]
Duties And Responsibilities
Provide recruiting support on fully funded requisitions and proposal (future) requisitions.
Responsible for meeting staffing goals.
Ensure programs supported are at required staffing levels, as determined by leadership.
Pre-screen applicants and candidates for available opportunities.
Maintain knowledge of key labor category requirements.
Track recruiting activities.
Maintain courteous, professional, and effective working relationships with recruiting team, BTS hiring managers and partners, and candidates.
Ensure requisitions are in applicant tracking system.
Engage fully with Recruiting leadership and hiring managers on LCAT requirements, and candidate evaluation and selection.
Engagement with proposal efforts by researching new requirements, conducting salary surveys, assisting with transition, and following through with staffing plans.
Proactively develop and apply new sourcing methodologies to actively identify, cultivate, and grow target candidate pools of top talent in a highly competitive market.
Participation in Leadership meetings as requested.
Additional duties and responsibilities will be determined and assigned by Recruiting leadership.
Required Qualifications
6+ years of recruiting experience in the Federal Industry.
2-3 years of experience recruiting to Intelligence programs. (primarily SIGINT, but may also be HUMINT, OSINT, All-Source etc.)
Experience sourcing and recruiting to individuals with high-level security clearances in the DoD and Intelligence community.
Experience recruiting veterans and military personnel transitioning to civilian life.
Knowledge and understanding of military and DoD acronyms.
Proficiency using MS Excel as a tracking and reporting tool.
Outstanding communication skills (verbal, written).
Team player mentality.
Excellent organizational and analytic skills, with an ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
Nice To Have
Experience with MS Teams.
