The Position: The Chief Administrative Officer role is located in Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate must reside in Indianapolis for consideration. Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all administrative functions, including Compliance, legal affairs, and risk management.
Partner with the President and CEO to drive the yearly Risk Assessment Plan for the Company.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives across all departments, streamlining processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness while adhering to accreditation standards.
Oversee legal compliance and regulatory adherence, mitigating risks and safeguarding company interests.
Directly lead the Compliance Department in an operational capacity. Oversee all audits, both external and internal, making recommendations to the Board about changes based on results.
Foster a positive and productive work environment, cultivating strong relationships with department heads and staff across all levels.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in healthcare administration, recommending and implementing strategic adjustments as needed.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in a senior administrative leadership role within a healthcare organization.
Proven track record of success in developing and implementing strategic initiatives to ensure policy adherence and to mitigate company risk.
In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and healthcare-specific software applications.
