Job Description Job Store Professional has teamed up with one of the leading experts in mapping and Geospatial information technology companies and seeking a permanent Proposal Manager to join the team. This is an excellent Direct Hire for a key role in the development and submission of proposals for business opportunities.
Monday- Friday 8-5
Salary Range: $65K-$90K Annually plus benefits
Fully onsite in Colorado Springs-
Proposal Development:
• Lead the development of high-quality proposals, in response RFI’s, RFP’s and development of unsolicited proposals, to ensure alignment with client requirements and organizational goals.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to gather relevant information and insights for proposal content.
Team Coordination:
• Organize and lead proposal kick-off meetings, assigning tasks to team members and establishing clear timelines.
• Manage work assignments for Proposal Coordinators and stakeholders
• Foster collaboration among cross-functional teams involved in the proposal process.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
• Ensure proposals adhere to all client requirements, guidelines, and industry standards.
• Conduct thorough reviews of proposals to maintain a high level of quality and accuracy.
• Develop and implement strategic approaches based on Proposal Class, focusing on key messaging, differentiation, and value propositions.
• Analyze competitor proposals to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
Relationship Building:
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather necessary information and insights for proposal development.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, partners, and team members throughout the proposal process.
• Communicate proposal-related requirements and status with senior management, and remain current on all amendments and modifications to the solicitation.
• Travel as needed to meet business needs and proposal deadlines. (less than 10%)
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
May supervise 1-5 employees.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in English, Marketing, Business Administration or related field. Master’s degree Preferred. Equivalent experience may be substituted for the education requirement.
EXPERIENCE
• Proven Self-Starter with the ability to multi-task and lead team efforts.
• Can work well under pressure and under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work the hours required with a flexible work schedule to meet required deadlines.
• Required 3 years general experience with contracts, proposals, or paralegal type work.
• Preferred 5 years’ experience leading full lifecycle proposal development efforts.
• Advanced experience with software packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe products, and the ability to implement and manage systems and programs to meet business proposal needs.
