About the Department and Position:
The Cayuga Centers Training Department's mission is to provide our staff and foster parents with the knowledge and skills needed to best serve the youth, individuals and families in our programs and our agency as a whole. We strive to respond to the needs of programs, oversight agencies and stakeholders with valuable and effective training materials, resources and assessments.
The Training Coordination Specialist will partner with all training department personnel to support the overall organization of training requests, offerings and events . They will also be a direct point of contact, in partnership with all necessary training teams, to assist with the scheduling of training(s) throughout the agency for both staff and foster parents.

Provide overall support to the coordination of training offerings throughout the agency.
Develops and maintains systems to ensure that training offerings are being communicated and coordinated to agency personnel.
Assist training leadership with coordination and communication of compliance/training standards.
Work in collaboration with the Manager of Training Operations to put in place systems for training events and requests.
Assist with communications regarding; upcoming training offerings, and scheduled trainings, including the training SharePoint page.
Coordinate with the Training Team to ensure training events are prepared successfully.
Communicate with program and agency leadership regarding training needs; including updated curricula.
Provide excellent customer service to all staff and departments.
Assist with organization and clerical duties.
Perform other duties as requested by the immediate supervisor.
Comply with rules and regulations governing access to Protected Health Information (PHI) under HIPAA.
Schedule:
Non-Exempt
Regular hours entail Monday - Friday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm
Must be flexible to meet program needs.
High school diploma required, Associate's degree preferred
Three years of secretarial or administrative experience required
Experienced in self-directed management of projects
Strong communication and organizational skills and ability to handle numerous tasks - required
Strong skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Google Suite applications
Ability to work effectively in a team context
Demonstrated experience in providing strong customer service.
Ability to travel to other agency locations as required
Bilingual-English / Spanish preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time, depending on department needs
Completing paperwork - Such as copying, scanning and faxing documents
Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
