A Day In The Life of an Assembly Test-Evaluator
As the Assembly Test-Evaluator, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing aircraft components. You will conduct a diagnosis of malfunctions, perform maintenance, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly, or adjustment, and certify/test various aircraft components in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations. You may conduct quality inspections in accordance with quality specifications as well.
Essential Job Functions For The Assembly Test-Evaluator In Hot Springs, AR:
Follow company policies and procedures.
Follow directions and/or instructions, as directed.
Familiar with Internal Customer Interfaces, as defined by the process assigned.
Process forms and document work by utilizing their endorsement, in accordance with the Quality Management System.
Notify the immediate supervisor of any suspected un-airworthy condition noted while performing their duties.
Acquire and maintain hand tools, if necessary, to complete the work assigned.
Clean, disassemble and identify components, with normal supervision.
Have a good understanding of blueprints, technical manuals, and planning documents with normal supervision.
Apply different type’s conversion coatings and sealants using different types of tools and methods with normal supervision.
Work in conjunction with higher-grade Mechanics to further their job knowledge base through OJT with normal supervision.
Cleans work area, when required with minimal supervision.
Read and understand blueprints and technical manuals.
Accomplish basic repairs with normal supervision.
Have a basic understanding of computer processes involved in daily operations.
Other various duties, as assigned.
