This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, which translates to 2-3 days minimum per week in the office.
The Private Equity Accountant is responsible for the financial accounting and reporting for a variety of the firm's fund portfolio.
The ideal candidate is someone who is:
Able to exhibit strong technical accounting skills
Focused on providing timely, accurate work
Able to effectively communicate both verbally and written.
Work independently as well as successfully part of a team.
What you will do:
Maintain general ledger accounts for assigned fund portfolio
Responsible for all aspects of daily and monthly activities related to the funds, including preparing cash analyses to determine distribution needs, preparing distribution packages, and monthly bank reconciliations
Perform quarterly reconciliations for fund operating activity
Produce quarterly capital account statements and other required reporting, such as debt compliance reports
Prepare annual audited financial statements and assist auditors with annual audit
Prepare ad hoc requests and help with department projects related to continuous improvement

Strong technical accounting knowledge

Strong digital literacy
Education
Bachelor of Science (B.S) or equivalent experience (CPA a plus)
Work Experience
3-5 years; finance/accounting experience
