**Description**
***This position is Hybrid and open to being located anywhere within the Seattle/Bellevue and surrounding areas*** ****Retail Division Manager Opportunity Overview**** Sustain growth of the Bank's deposit accounts and consumer/small business credit relationships throughout their Division. Assist in analyzing market data to develop sales strategies. Lead sales and business development efforts within the retail branch network. Establish the Bank's presence within local communities for new business development. Lead and manage Branch Managers.
As a **Retail Division Manager** with Banner Bank you will have the opportunity to:
* Responsible for providing sales leadership and performance coaching for all staff. Provide direct management of Branch Managers.
* Assist Branch Managers with planning and budgeting processes. Prepare and rolls up retail division budget.
* Develop and direct retail sales and marketing plan for branches.
* Lead regular retail business development meetings, and conduct sales and referral training sessions as needed.
* Ensure staff provides exceptional customer service and proactively sells bank products based on customer needs.
* Responsible for making appropriate deposit or credit related decisions within assigned authority.
* Drive awareness in the local market of the bank and its service.
* Drive Performance and Pay for Performance culture through Banner Way.
* Responsible for complying with, and ensure staff follows, policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulations.
****QUALIFICATIONS**** ****Education & Certifications****
* Bachelors degree in Business or related field required
****Experience****
* 5+ years of bank retail sales experience required
* 1+year of branch banking leadership and supervisory experience required
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
* Possess in-depth knowledge of operational processes, policies, and regulations. federal and state laws and regulations relating to consumer lending and bank operations.
* Extensive knowledge of all deposit products, loan products, and business deposit products and services, including cash management services.
* Possess advanced training and performance coaching skills, specifically in the Banner Way sales management methodology. Ability to train staff in customer service, sales, and operations skills. Demonstrated ability to successfully lead business development teams.
* Extensive knowledge of management and supervisory principles, policies, legal requirements, and HR policies and procedures. Completion of management or supervisory curriculum or equivalent required. Completion of required consumer loan curriculum.
* Possess excellent written and verbal communications skills. Effective analytical, problem solving, presentation, and negotiation skills required.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
