**Inventory & Operations Analyst**
Chicago, IL / Operations / Full-time Hello, Inventory & Operations Analyst! Be part of a fun-loving and agile team while gaining valuable (and in demand) retail distribution experience. In this role you'll help manage demand planning, inventory management and merchandising needs for some of the world's largest retailers including Walmart and Sam's Club. This essential role analyzes the inventory status at 1,200+ Freeosk locations on a daily basis. As an Inventory & Operations Analyst on our Operations Team, you'll be making decisions that impact the efficiency of our inventory management and ensure that all key stakeholders are informed about critical inventory information.
**Key responsibilities for this role :**
+ Analyze sample usage, traffic and engagement trends to create the inventory forecast that will be needed to support each kiosk in your assigned network.
+ Review inventory and utilization on a daily basis to drive allocations/distributions that align with inventory utilization and cost targets using on-demand forecasting to adjust store-level inventory quantities.
+ Investigate and provide support for program execution as it pertains to in-store inventory management.
+ Provide support for 3PL warehouse operations including: data integrity and flow, managing weekly/monthly reporting and key success metrics for the team, resolving inbound receiving and outbound shipment issues, and ensuring third-party vendor accountability through weekly communication and priority setting.
+ Support pre-execution and post-execution cross-functional efforts on behalf of the inventory team including: pre-sales forecasting, surplus forecasting, utilization reporting, and collaboration with Sales and Client Success teams.
+ Drive operational actions and process improvements based on data insights that will enhance the customer experience through effective inventory management.
**Your skills, background and experience include**
+ Bachelors degree in supply chain, industrial operations, mathematics, statistics or related field preferred but not required.
+ 2-4 years of professional experience
+ 2-3 years of experience in retail or CPG inventory management or supply chain management preferred
+ Expert in Microsoft Excel
+ Intermediate experience in SQL/MySQL, Python
+ Have used Introductory Tableau
+ Familiar with Six Sigma, Supply Chain, Retail and Inventory Management concepts and terminology
