CPR/BLS
Education/Degrees : ADN, BSN Preferred
Experience:
New grad nurses welcome! (Prefer one (1) year as an RN, preferably in either home or community health.).
Must be willing to visit patients at home, approx. 35 visits/week.
6+ months' experience working with the frail or elderly population through internship or other work.
Bilingual Spanish or other language preferred.
Valid MA driver license and reliable transportation.
Under the supervision and direction of the Director, the

will visit local patients at home, to provide quality in-home nursing care.

Under the supervision and direction of the Director, the
RN - Home Health
will visit local patients at home, to provide quality in-home nursing care.
Schedule:
Standard Monday – Friday schedule, with occasional weekends if required.
Times:
8 am to 5 pm
Payrate : $70,000. to $85,000/year
Responsibilities:
Conduct Assessments: Obtain a medical history, particularly as it relates to the present condition, from the client and/or family member(s).
Conduct a physical examination of the client, including vital signs, physical assessment, mental status, appetite and type of diet, etc.
Nursing services, treatments and preventative procedures requiring substantial specialized drill and ordered by the physician.
Initiate preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedures as appropriate for the client’s care and safety.
Observe signs and symptoms and reporting to the physician reactions to treatments, including drugs, and changes in the clients physical or emotional condition.
Teach, supervise, and counsel the client and caregivers regarding the nursing care needs and other related problems of the clients at home.
Is responsible for the care given by the home health aide.
