We’re looking for a talented Network and Systems Administrator/Engineer who has the experience necessary to help build out our customers infrastructure and troubleshoot problems as they arise. As an MSP, we are looking to add and grow to our successful engineering team with a dedicated system Engineer who will push the boundaries and take on a multitude of tasks from Cloud Systems Design and Administration to Network configuration. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with multi-tasking and always having several tasks at hand. This candidate will ideally fit in a fun, vibrant culture.
Responsibilities:
Management of system security including Active Directory roles and permissions along with Group Policy deployments.
Design customer cloud and/or virtualized environments. (AWS or Hyper-V or on-premise servers)
Install and support LAN, WAN, Mobile, and other systems infrastructure
Analyze and isolate issues and bring to resolution
Project Management
Provide support to the helpdesk as needed
System/Endpoint security platform management, incident/outbreak response
Ongoing Documentation of key support services using IT Glue
Utilize Autotask, our current ticketing System
Support various internal applications used for supporting our clients, including Trend, Datto BCDR, Datto RMM, Huntress, and other security related applications.
Ongoing support of our AWS cloud infrastructure.
Be willing to multi task and tackle a number of different technical issues escalated from the help-desk team.
Qualifications:
4+ years’ experience in network and system engineering and IT support.
Expert-level knowledge of Active Directory
Proven track record of success in installation and maintenance of VMWare, Hyper-V, AWS, and Azure based environments
Efficient with Office 365 deployments including SharePoint, One Drive, and Teams
Experience designing and maintaining firewalls, routers, and switches. (Sonicwall/Fortigate/Ubiquiti)
Skilled direct support abilities with a focus on delivering great service to internal resources
Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks concurrently
Innovative analytical skills
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to promptly respond to work-related email, phone calls, and other electronic communications
High level of enthusiasm, persistence and work efficiently to meet deadlines
Excellent oral communication, technical writing, and documentation skills
Ability to be open to feedback, suggestions & to share ideas
Desired certifications: AWS, Azure, Microsoft,
Ability to communicate highly technical information to end users
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
Typical 8 hour shift (M-F) unless projects or migrations are scheduled and shift may need to be adjusted for larger weekend projects. i.e. Tues-Saturday
