Production Support Engineer

Strong experience in Linux, Unix, shell scripting
Strong experience troubleshooting Java and C++ based application
Must have experience in middleware technologies e.g. CORBA,AIX, MQ, File transfer
Experience in L2/L3 Incident management and release management.
Experience of handling legacy and complex applications
Coordinate with System Administrators and Infrastructure Teams to Install Applications/Software
•Data centers, backups etc. Working with onsite and offshore teams , system alerts, monitoring,etc.
•Environment setup and release management as per Block point requirement
•Disaster recovery
Admin experience of passwords , permissions
•Create long range disaster recovery
•Customer feedback survey
•Manages and monitor system performance. proactively monitor the Platform to ensure secure services with minimum downtime
•Sets up and maintains documentation and standards
•Performance analysis and tuning , Best practices implemented on current system
•L2/L3 ticket support
•Troubleshooting and Issue resolution within SLA.
•Coordinate with other applications SMEs to troubleshoot
•Support Major incident management
•On call support
