What you will enjoy doing*
You will enjoy troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of mechanical equipment
You will interpret schematics and instrumentation to troubleshoot and resolve process issues
Further, you will use your PLC troubleshooting capability to troubleshoot Allen Bradley hardware
In this role you will actively communicate with production regarding required repairs that will mitigate unplanned downtime
You will present status updates, timelines, and discuss open or resolved
You will also be familiar with the production floor and work on installing equipment
Additionally, you will train technicians when necessary to build team capability
You will learn other aspects of the business such as safety and quality as needed to support the operation
What makes you great
Associate’s degree in a technical Engineering or Maintenance discipline and two to four (2 - 4) years of experience working in a manufacturing environment are required
You have working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC’s and VFD’s. (Troubleshooting, replacing, and programming)
Strong electrical aptitude is an added advantage
You also must have experience reading and understanding mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, and troubleshooting
In addition you have a proven track record of working in a manufacturing environment that you can learn and understand quickly
You should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
