The Opportunity:
Out Teach has embarked on an ambitious new phase of growth and is looking for a Account Manager, Education Partnerships.
The ideal candidate will drive growth and manage program partnerships with schools and districts through relationship building, program implementation planning, and positioning for expansion opportunities. The Account Manager, Education Partnerships ensures excellent customer service and supports successful program implementation by collaborating with Out Teach Instructional Coaches and Project Managers, and stewarding school and district leadership throughout the partnership. This position supports the Director, Education Partnerships within the assigned territory as needed and collaborates across functions to ensure that Out Teach’s intended impact within the territory is met.
The Account Manager, Education Partnerships will have direct revenue goals, and is responsible for renewing school and district contracts, building strong relationships with school partners, and supporting the overall implementation of Out Teach programs in schools and districts. The Account Manager, Education Partnerships will cultivate relationships with school leadership to support equipping elementary teachers with the skills and support they need to transform science instruction and create more opportunities for their students.

To succeed in this position, the ideal candidate will have:
A four-year college degree or equivalent work experience, plus at least 3 years of experience in sales or non-profit fundraising, regularly meeting and exceeding goals/sales targets
Strong education background and market knowledge of K-12 education programming
Demonstrated experience and success in working with Salesforce
Superior knowledge of district and school operations and educational priorities
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and listening), including a passion for consultative sales
Creative problem solver with the ability to craft original solutions that meet the unique needs of potential partners
Outstanding presentation and negotiation skills
Strategic thinker and executer, working both independently and collaboratively
Ability to manage multi-faceted projects and capacity to perform well independently in a fast-paced, growing entrepreneurial environment
Exceptional attention to detail and timelines
Keen focus, tenacity, adaptability, positivity, and grit
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively build relationships with people of all ages and backgrounds and across lines of difference
Travel
Occasional domestic travel - up to 25%
