We are looking for an experienced Senior Civil Design Engineer to lead and manage civil engineering design projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in civil engineering, excellent project management skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. The Senior Civil Design Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, planners, and other engineers, to develop innovative and sustainable design solutions that meet client requirements and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities: Lead and manage civil engineering design projects, including site development, transportation, water resources, and infrastructure projects.
Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and technical assessments to determine project requirements and constraints.
Develop conceptual and detailed engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates using industry-standard software and tools.
Perform calculations, simulations, and analyses to ensure the integrity, safety, and efficiency of design solutions.
Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals for project implementation.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor project progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and present technical reports, presentations, and proposals to clients, management, and regulatory authorities.
Qualifications: 5+ years related work experience
Bachelors Degree in Engineering discipline or related field
Active PE or on the PE track
$90,000 - $110,000 a year
