Day to Day Activities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department ( day-to-day management of Order Entry, Billing, Credit & Collections, Accounts Payable)
Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets
Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for improvement
Assists with Monthly Financial closing entries and reporting.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and handle tax planning and preparation
Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
Qualifications/Requirements:
Accounting or financeDegree is Required
Minimum of 5 years of working accounting experience - Experience working in a small company or law firm is highly preferred
Full Cycle Accounting Experience
CPA highly Preferred
Communications and OrganizationalSkills
Management / Leadership Experience
knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
