Job Summary
We’re looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join our team and drive our social media presence. In this role, you’ll conceptualize and produce engaging image and video content for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, tailored to each platform's unique audience. You'll schedule and publish posts, collaborating closely with our marketing and video teams.
As our Social Media Coordinator, you'll monitor audience engagement, respond to inquiries and comments, and prepare regular reports on key data points. You’ll analyze performance metrics to provide insights and act on those insights to improve results.
An ideal candidate has excellent storytelling skills, a strong understanding of audience targeting, a history of creating engaging social media posts, can thrive in a fluid environment, and knows a little bit about music gear. Experience with video and photography is a plus but not required. Join us and help shape the voice of our brand online!
This position reports to the CEO of the company.We will begin reviewing applications June 1.
Responsibilities
Conceptualize and produce engaging image and video content for social media channels, tailored to each platform's audience and best practices
Schedule and publish social media posts, including shoppable posts, via our social scheduling platforms (Sprout)
Collaborate closely with marketing, video, and other relevant teams/people to ensure social media content aligns with overall brand strategy and campaign objectives
Monitor and respond to audience engagement and inquiries
Prepare and present regular reports on all key data points from all social channels
Regularly analyze social media performance metrics using Sprout and other analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
Stay up to date on social media trends and best practices for video content creation
Required Experience/Attributes
Proficiency in content creation and publishing across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
Experience using social media management tools, specifically Sprout
Experience with shoppable posts
Excellent storytelling, visual composition, and post-production skills
A strong understanding of audience targeting and engagement strategies
Foundational knowledge of music gear, specifically guitars
Top notch organization skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work in a fluid, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines
Social Media/Marketing experience within a retail business preferred but not required
Video and photography experience would be nice but not required
