ABOUT THE JOB

GeoParking Technologies (GPT) is a technology platform company that sources short-term and overnight parking for Robotaxi fleets of electric Autonomous Vehicles (eAV’s). GPT’s software only solution provides an “Airbnb style” business model for all available parking lots and spots for these vehicles. GPT’s technology platform incorporates Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technology features to predict the 24/7 availability and demand for eAV parking in locations with high rates of eAV utilization. Additionally, GPT will operate service hubs that will allow Robotaxi operators to outsource daily vehicle cleaning, washing, charging, and safety tech checks.

GPT is in the climate tech, energy, and infrastructure mobility sectors as a component of moving transportation to 100% green via zero-carbon electricity with Purchase Power Agreements (PPA) and the ability to distribute the energy/electricity over the entire metro electric grid via spreading out to ~2,000+ AV Robotaxi charging locations (instead of ~5 giant hub/depot locations creating electric grid issues).

With pending contracts with the leading operators, we are building our solution rapidly and will be in beta trials/pilots later this summer/fall. As we launch and scale this solution, we are looking for exceptional team members (i.e. GSD/“players”) to help shape the future of GPT. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven B2B Director of Inside Sales to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building our market, driving sales and fostering strong relationships with business clients. This role requires a proactive approach to both managing people and direct sales. We expect this person to start selling in an individual capacity as well as simultaneously managing and building the inside sales team.

REMOTE/HYBRID

Although mostly all remote - must reside in the greater Seattle Area.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

SALES

Execute sales plans to achieve company goals and sales targets.

Engage with potential business clients through various channels, including virtual meetings, social media, email, CRM tools, phone, etc.

Create, manage and nurture provided customer targets, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion.

Conduct product presentations and demonstrations tailored to the needs of business clients.

Manage prospect relationships in order to efficiently and effectively close sales contracts.

Learn what is and is not working from the GPT product, sales solution, and sales process/messaging in order to close sales contracts. And provide needed changes to the GPT team to incorporate improvements into future sales efforts and product solution.

SALES MANAGEMENT

Develop, oversee, and scale all go-to-market inside sales initiatives.

Sales and Business Development team management, including hiring, training, developing, and motivation.

Establish clear, measurable goals and strategies for inside sales, business development, and customer success.

Build, streamline, and optimize our inside sales systems and processes.

Reporting and measurement in real-time, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and reports for key initiatives through the CRM (this includes managing and owning the customizing by the dev/IT team to customize the CRM to the GPT inside sales process).

Work with marketing and product teams to better position the GPT solution for market fit.

Measure and increase sales close rate by standardizing the selling process, developing the sales team's skills, and executing sales compensation models.

Work alongside team members as a player-coach in the trenches.

OTHER

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and customer satisfaction.

Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to effectively position our products and services.

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management in the CRM system.

Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics/KPIs.

QUALIFICATIONS

5 yrs+ Proven experience running an inside sales team, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently as well as manage an inside sale team that is In-Office and or Hybrid, and or Remote.

Strong negotiation and closing skills.

Strong Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools.

Ability to analyze market trends and adapt sales strategies accordingly.

Growth mindset – ambition and goal driven approach to KPIs

Understanding commercial pricing, P&L, impact analysis, and business management is a plus.

Experience in startups and scaling from early-stage to massive global growth.

In-depth knowledge of sales principles, practices, and employee motivation techniques.

High adaptability to situational and organizational changes.
