Responsibilities:
Review weekly clinical reports to ensure aware of all cases where an adverse outcome occurred; these patients will be handled separately from other routine phone calls.
Daily routine phone calls to all patients provided IOM services by NNS; routine script will be drafted and presented to employee to work identifying 3-5 basic questions to ask and document on each patient.
Document patient feedback.
Make detailed notes on patient's accounts after correspondence from patient, insurance, attorney, etc.
Qualifications: Minimum of 1-year Medical Collections Experience
Knowledge of CPT, and/or ICD-10
Knowledge of legal and regulatory government provisions
Knowledge of laws that regulates communication and privacy act. HIPAA laws
Skill in fast data entry and accuracy.
High level of discretional, interpersonal skills.
Tactfulness in dealing with patients, co-workers and other professional offices.
Knowledge of medical terminology
