Marketing Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator will promote the company's products and services to existing and prospective customers through strategic use of graphics, logos, and other promotional strategies.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Collaborates with sales or buyers, and Outreach & Development Manager to fully understand product and communication needs.

Gathers the materials necessary to understand the project and competition in the area such as literature or previous marketing campaigns; analyzes these materials to determine the most effective communications technique.

Based on assessment, brainstorms, drafts, and proposes communications campaigns, which may include social and online media, print media, direct mail, and other multimedia.

Creates and coordinates multimedia packages.

Evaluates success of campaigns when completed.

Presents design ideas and recommendations to marketing manager, committee, or sales team.

Attends trade shows, networking events, customer visits and community fairs. Staff the company booth if needed.

Designs and creates in-house materials for enhancing culture i.e. JJ highlights, TV monitors at JJ, motivational content, etc.

Creates content to be shared on social platforms i.e. reels, videos for sales to use for customer engagement, promotional.

Creates and takes direction for company presentations.

Supports company with photographing JJ tours, in house presentations, vendor visits, etc.

Works with purchasing team to update our weekly emails

Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills that may include public speaking and presentations.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite and CRM), and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.)

Photography skills to capture content for social platforms, company presentations, POS, etc.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or related field.

Three to five years of related experience writing and editing projects; portfolio of relevant previous projects highly preferred.

Skilled marketing professional with experience in creating point of sale

General understanding of seafood is preferred

Other Abilities: Exercise good judgment

Think clearly and quickly, maintain concentration, and make concise decisions in pressure situations.

Prioritize, organize, and follow up.

Attention to details.
