The Accounts Payable Specialist provides support functions for Accounts Payable by tracking vendor billings, monitoring past due balances, processing vendor payments, and adjusting accounts by performing the following.
Knowledge, Education, and Experience An associate degree in accounting/finance or equivalent combination of education and experience. A bachelor's degree and experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and Automation Anywhere or other RPA (Robotic Process Automation) software are preferred. At least two years of experience in a similar position. Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and general bookkeeping procedures.
Ability to meet critical deadlines. Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division quickly and accurately. Solid written and verbal communication. Ability to organize and prioritize work on a long-term basis. Ability to work as a team and independently. During the company's peak season, this position may require overtime. Regular and predictable attendance is essential in this role.
