Likewize is searching for a Director of Information Technology (Customer Facing IT) to join our team at our global Headquarters in Southlake, TX.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of Likewize’s customer facing technology strategy, infrastructure, and operations. This pivotal role involves developing and implementing IT policies and systems to ensure the organization's technology needs are met efficiently and effectively. You will play a crucial role in aligning technology solutions with business objectives, fostering innovation, and ensuring the security and reliability of the company's IT infrastructure.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute the overall customer facing IT strategy in alignment with the business goals and objectives.
Provide strategic guidance to senior management on technology-related opportunities and challenges.
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
Team Management:
Lead and manage a high-performing team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture.
Infrastructure Management:
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the project’s IT infrastructure, including serverless digital transformation.
Ensure the availability, security, and scalability of IT systems to meet current and future business needs.
Application Development and Support:
Collaborate with development teams to ensure the successful delivery of software solutions that align with business requirements.
Provide support and oversight for the full software development lifecycle.
Security and Compliance:
Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect the company's data and information assets.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards related to IT and data management.
Budgeting and Resource Allocation:
Per department budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and alignment with strategic objectives.
Make informed decisions about technology investments and procurements.
Stakeholder Communication:
Collaborate with key stakeholders across departments to understand their technology needs and requirements.
Communicate customer facing IT initiatives, progress, and challenges to executive leadership and other relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate to Solution:
Collaborate with architects to produce solutions for different technical problems.
If you are who we are looking for, you will have the following education, skills and/or experience.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience (10+ years) in a leadership role within IT management.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
In-depth knowledge of current and emerging technologies.
Previous development experience in C#, SQL, Angular.
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, Microsoft) are a plus.
