Customer Service Representative
Job Summary:
Foster long-term relationships with distributors by being their primary contact, ensuring they receive exceptional support and customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Act as the main support contact for distributors, end-users, sales teams, and vendors, directing inquiries as needed.
Educate customers on product features and benefits to enhance satisfaction and sales.
Handle logistics-related inquiries such as freight quote requests and coordinate with relevant departments.
Track and update order statuses, ensure timely deliveries, and expedite orders as necessary.
Manage new and existing customer accounts, maintaining accurate records in Salesforce and SAGE.
Update and maintain product information and pricing databases.
Analyze customer feedback to recommend product or service enhancements to management.
Handle incoming sales leads, enter details into Salesforce, and direct leads to appropriate channels.
Address and resolve product or service issues, ensuring effective solutions and follow-up.
Support logistics with freight claims by providing necessary documentation and information.
Recommend products and solutions based on customer needs and expectations.
Identify customer satisfaction trends and respond to customer inquiries about product availability.
Conduct in-person and virtual product training and presentations.
Education and Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in correspondence, reporting, and presentations.
