WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Your goal as Marketing Specialist is to help us bolster our digital marketing efforts and expand on the positive brand awareness and supportive user base established.

You'll work creatively with sales, engineering and outsourced marketing partners to manage and optimize our marketing infrastructure across various digital platforms and develop and execute ad campaigns and marketing strategies.

You’ll report to the Director of Growth and Product, and you’ll be FinOptimal’s third full-time growth and product focused contributor. Title and compensation are flexible and will be commensurate with prior experience.

Ad Campaign Management: Help us run campaigns with creative that isn’t boring

Set up and manage paid advertising campaigns on LinkedIn, our primary focus area, and expand to platforms such as, Meta, X, YouTube, and Google, utilizing SEM techniques to enhance visibility and conversions.

Implement tracking parameters, UTMs, and conduct A/B testing to refine campaigns and improve effectiveness.

Manage and allocate budgets for campaign spending, maintaining an analytical approach to maximize ROI.

In-app Marketing: Help us make our app our best sales person

Collaborate with sales and engineering to identify key data points from our applications, using these insights to develop and implement targeted marketing triggers, including in-app notifications, emails, etc.

CRM : Help us keep track of the smart accountants who are using or want to to use our apps

Management of HubSpot platform, like customizing workflows, data architecture, and integrating third-party tools.

Leverage CRM data to support personalized marketing efforts and align closely with sales strategies.

Website Management: Help make our website and landing pages look good

Oversee and adjust our Webflow site, creating new pages as needed.

Use advanced analytics and data visualization tools to drive data-driven decisions and suggest strategic changes to our websites.

Content (Written, Visual, and Video): Help us build on our content game

Experience and interest in creating visually appealing compelling content and marketing assets, including graphic design with tools like Canva or Adobe.

Experience with SEO strategy, with tools like SEMrush and Zimmwriter to analyze and optimize our digital presence.

Outbound Email Campaigns: Send outbound emails that people don’t get angry at

Designing outbound email campaigns, utilizing prospecting software like Apollo, ZoomInfo, and Clay

Experience incorporating A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies to enhance performance

MUST HAVE:

4 - 7 years of experience in B2B digital marketing operations with strengths in paid advertising and SEO

Experience implementing and running successful marketing campaigns without a reliance on huge paid advertising budgets

Desire to work in a fast-paced start-up environment

Self-start, with an ability to work independently and manage upwards

Analytical mindset with an appreciate for data hygiene

GREAT TO HAVE:

Understanding of accounting and finance concepts

Experience marketing or selling other fintech apps

Desire to think outside the box, try new things, and take risks

A sharp eye and obsessive attention to detail

Interest in social media trends, with an appreciation for sh*t posting and offbeat content being a huge plus
