Job Overview
Strategy Collective seeks an experienced and detail-oriented Marketing Data Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about evaluating and optimizing the performance of marketing channels, campaigns, and initiatives using various analytics tools.
The candidate should have expertise in utilizing tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), Google Looker Studio, Google Tag Manager (GTM), and Google Ads (AdWords), Meta Business/Ads, and Power BI among other marketing data sets to extract meaningful insights from various marketing channels.
Responsibilities
In taking ownership of the marketing data, the candidate will bring analytical skills, technical expertise, and strategic thinking to drive marketing success through data-driven insights and optimization.
In this role, you will:
Collaborate with the Account Strategists and marketing team to understand marketing goals and objectives for each client
Properly setup and configure event and conversion tracking to measure the success of predefined goals (e.g., tracking number of leads by lead quality, call outcomes, etc.) in Google Analytics
Analyze overall website traffic and evaluate traffic sources (e.g., organic search, direct, referral, social, paid, etc.) to identify and report on the most effective channels
Analyze attribution data models to determine lead sources and conversion assist sources to further impact marketing campaigns and results
Leverage Google Looker Studio to create customized visual dashboards to offer accurate and concise reporting of trends, anomalies, areas for improvements, and other actionable insights
Implement best practices for proper integration of various tags and scripts using Google Tag Manager to ensure accurate data collection of user behavior across digital channels
Identify improvement and optimization areas, helping maximize the return on investment (ROI) for marketing efforts
Identify challenges and proactively provide data-driven solutions
Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support marketing initiatives and business objectives
Analyze Google Ads (Adwords) campaigns to optimize performance and achieve key KPIs
Work closely with the SEO team to analyze and report on organic search performance (SEO experience preferred)
Stay informed about industry trends and recommend data-driven strategies to enhance marketing efforts

Requirements
What you bring to the table:
5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an agency environment, with a proven track record of proficiency with various analytical tools
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proven track record of successfully synthesizing marketing data for multi-location businesses, preferably in the healthcare industry, is a nice to have (think a dental organization with 100+ locations and/or 100+ brands but all the same general service line)
Ability to prioritize and effectively escalate issues as needed while understanding the impact on the overall business
Strategic problem-solving skills and the capacity to distill complex information into meaningful concepts or ideas
Healthcare marketing experience is nice to have but not required
Hands-on experience with digital marketing platforms such as Google Ads (Adwords), social media analytics tools, email marketing platforms, and SEO tools a plus
Highly comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
People first -- Team/people management and leadership skills, working independently and collaboratively with the broader team and teams across the organization.
Organized self-starter and independent worker with the ability to organize and deliver projects on time with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail
Willingness for occasional light travel for in-person client and agency strategy sessions

Base pay salary range: $65,000 - $85,000
