Job Summary (includes but is not limited to the following, other duties may be assigned)

Do you like piecing together disparate data sources to uncover opportunities to drive value? Do you enjoy collaborating with teams trying to solve complex problems for clients. The Marketing Analyst will work with the MD of Marketing and Carbon Management to support the overall marketing initiatives of Solutions. This role will uncover data trends from internal and external sources to help guide sales strategy and drive business decisions and bottom-line growth.

Job Responsibilities

Market Analysis - Collect market data from various NGOs, public, and paid public data sources and maintain a database of market intelligence to support the marketing and the tactical marketing/sales planning process (development of products and campaigns).

Competitive Analysis -

Solutions Analysis - Find the most effective ways to respond to complex inquiries from internal or external clients (e.g. when the supply/sourcing team asks if there has been any interest in RECs from MSW, or a client asks if a PPA they are considering will impact their SBTi goal).

This will initially involve integrating solutions into existing processes and systems (e.g. how can you collect better data within an intake form or a CRM opportunity entry? Utilizing an existing data set to convey realized or potential margin from a specific opportunity or campaign). End goal will be standardized reports, dashboards, and data access points.

Personal Capability Building - Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry standards and best practices through leveraging internal SMEs, ongoing education, attending conferences, and consuming specialist media (newsletters, podcasts, publications).

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree

Three (3) years’ related experience (with an emphasis in data management/analysis) preferred.

Sitting and standing for long periods of time

Approximately 30% travel required.
