Site Lead/ Warehouse

7:30am-4:00pm
As the Site Lead for our small facility warehouse, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, leading a small team, and ensuring efficient and safe warehouse activities. Your focus will be on optimizing processes, maintaining inventory accuracy, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a small team of warehouse personnel. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Operational Management: Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping of products. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Implement and maintain efficient processes to maximize productivity.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits. Coordinate with purchasing and production teams to optimize inventory levels.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and enhance overall performance.
Quality Control: Monitor and enforce quality standards for incoming and outgoing products. Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Customer Service: Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment to meet customer expectations. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to warehouse operations.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, including receiving, shipping, and inventory transactions. Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to management.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Previous experience in warehouse operations, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Additional certification or training in warehouse management or related field preferred.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
Working Conditions: This position involves working in a warehouse setting, which may include exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
