Technical Recruiter

Role

Zeno is seeking a highly motivated Technical Recruiter to support the mission-oriented efforts of developing and bringing to market Radioisotope Power Systems (RPS). The Technical Recruiter will lead the talent acquisition efforts for our growing team. In this role you will:

Oversee all stages of Zeno's recruiting strategy, including the hiring process and applicant life-cycle

Create, update, and maintain job descriptions for specialized and technical jobs, conduct market research to make salary recommendations

Research, source, and recruit potential hires to ensure Zeno continues to hire best-in-class talent and achieves its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion objectives

Screen resumes for specialized skills, qualifications, and technical competencies

Conduct screening interviews to assess qualifications and fit, and additional interviews when necessary

Communicate and collaborate with Zeno's leadership and hiring managers to understand department goals and staffing needs

Partner with the Recruiting Coordinator to ensure a spectacular candidate experience and smooth interview process

Oversee outreach strategies, including leveraging multiple channels to attract potential candidates and maintain a talent pipeline

Source and participate in job/career fairs and engage with external partners (colleges, technology schools, networking events, etc.) to build a pipeline and increase Zeno's brand awareness

Support the development of a robust internship program across different teams and departments

Key Qualifications And Skills

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent strongly preferred

5+ years of Technical Recruiting experience, preferably in the aerospace and/or nuclear industries

Experience working for a federal government contractor strongly preferred

Experience conducting interviews and background checks

Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

Ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure in an uncertain environment

Possess strong negotiation skills

Job Functions

Position requires in-office presence in Seattle (South Lake Union) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, remote work is optional on Mondays and Fridays

Travel: Travel is required, Motor Abilities: Sitting and/or standing for extended periods, bending/stooping, grasping/gripping, fine motor control (hands)

Physical exertion and/or requirements: Minimal, with ability to safely lift up to 15 pounds

Repetitive work: Prolonged

Special Senses: Visual and audio focused work

Work Conditions: Stairs, typing/keyboard, standard and/or sitting working environment of >8 hrs./day

Compensation And Benefits

The anticipated salary band for this position is $80,000-$130,000. The final job level and compensation will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, years of relevant experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, and other business considerations.
