Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a US Sales Manager located in Brea, CA. The US Sales Manager will aggressively pursue law enforcement, and industry sales opportunities from existing leads and clients, as well as new prospects. The US Sales Manager will personally handle large volume opportunities and manage the work and performances of up to three in-office and traveling sales representatives. This will include responsibility for managing marketing and lead generation, setting sales targets, monitoring performance, and providing professional support to the sales team. The US Sales Manager will also support and monitor our network of dealers and distributors, seek to recruit new dealers and distributors, initiate opportunities for business development, and be cooperative with industry partners.
The US Sales Manager will be responsible for executing the US office’s full sales cycle, including, but not limited to, marketing, lead generation, product demonstration, product development and presentation of proposals and quotes, closing of sales, and post-delivery follow-up. Extensive territory travel is required up to 50% – 60% of the time.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· High sales closing rate.
· Ability to manage long-term (months) multi-sales opportunities.
· Good presentation skills.
· Manage large, multi-million-dollar deals directly or via the tender process.
· Good technical understanding, a deep understanding of product features, and the ability to quickly learn.
· Very responsive and quick to answer customers’ questions and requests.
· Creative deal closing utilizing quote prices, credit terms, and other offering specifications.
· Ability to draft and amend the terms of sales agreements and government contracts.
· Maintain and update customer records using the CRM (Salesforce) system.
· Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, and attending trade shows and conferences.
· Keep current with the competition’s products, service offerings, and activities, report to the organization.
· Identify market needs and communicate them to the organization.
· Manage, support, and motivate a team (2-4 people) of in-office and traveling sales representatives.
· Create and implement market and lead generation plans.
· Create and implement a yearly sales plan.
· Collaborate with colleagues and subordinates to exchange information, such as selling strategies and marketing information.
· Motivate, support, and cultivate dealer and distributor networks.
· Explore new markets and find new sales and marketing partners.
· Manage the process of government tenders’ bids directly or with partners.
· Communicate with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public, the government, and other external sources.
· Performs other duties as requested or assigned to benefit the department or business.

Education and/or Experience Required:
· Associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
· Proven, recent, successful sales experience of personal hardware products to law enforcement and military clients (personal protection, personal gear, personal gear accessories, personal communication devices, personal weapons, etc.) is required.
· Sales team management experience is required.
· Proven track record as a top sales performer with a high deal closing record.
· Military or law enforcement experience (5+ years) is preferred.
· Communication gear with military or law enforcement experience is preferred.
