About the Role
The Vice President, Franchise is a senior executive role with a primary focus on leading the company's franchise strategy, programs, and compliance functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving franchise administrative and support processes, overseeing franchise services and performance teams, and maintaining accountability across the franchise platform. This includes setting departmental strategy, assembling and leading a competent team, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless execution of franchise agreements. The role demands a strategic thinker with a detailed knowledge of the franchise operating model within the hospitality industry, the ability to balance strong franchisee relationships with accountability, and a proven track record in cost containment and budget attainment.Candidates for the Vice President, Franchise position must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience leading a franchise department, with at least 15 years of progressive leadership experience in hospitality franchising organizations. The role requires previous work experience in leading franchise administration, development, or service departments, and the ability to travel regularly. Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to analyze and interpret business needs to provide targeted franchise solutions. The VP, Franchise will be expected to lead with proactive energy, integrity, and confidence, and to establish and maintain strong relationships with franchisees while upholding brand quality, consistency, and standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and web authoring tools is also a minimum qualification for this position.
